Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair has announced a major expansion of its summer flight program for 2026 from Katowice Airport. The company set a record for the number of destinations from this Polish hub, popular among Ukrainians. This was reported by Visit Ukraine.

In the new season, flights will be operated from Katowice on 26 routes – the highest number in the entire history of the carrier's operations at this airport.

New Ryanair flights from Katowice: 26 destinations in the summer season

The schedule has been updated with four new routes:

  • Malaga (Spain)

  • Lamezia Terme (Italy)

  • Aarhus (Denmark)

  • Tirana (Albania).

Thus, passengers will have a wider choice of both resort and cultural destinations in Europe. Katowice Airport, located near the Ukrainian border, remains a convenient option for travelers from Ukraine.

Ryanair flights from Sicily: expansion in Trapani-Marsala

At the same time, the airline introduced a record summer schedule from the Sicilian airport of Trapani-Marsala. From there, 24 routes will be available, six of which are new.

Among the new destinations:

  • Stockholm

  • Bournemouth

  • Bari

  • Verona

  • Lublin

  • Saarbrücken.

Particular attention is drawn to the Trapani – Lublin flight, as the Polish city is located close to the Ukrainian border. The expansion of the network in Poland and Italy opens up more opportunities for budget travel across Europe in 2026.

We remind you that Ryanair officially warned about further price increases for tickets and changes in pricing policy. The company announced this while publishing its financial results and forecasts for the next year.
