Ombudsman Lubinets on Violations of Children’s Rights: Almost Every Inspection Reveals Problems
According to glavcom.ua: The Office of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights of Ukraine revealed more than 800 violations of children's rights in 2025 across the country, reports 'Glavkom' citing ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.
Dmytro Lubinets reported systematic violations in a school in Transcarpathia, where children do not attend classes but are fictitiously registered as students on paper. Students use the basements of private houses for toileting, going outside, which threatens their health.
Lubinets emphasized that this indicates irresponsibility in the authorities. He appealed to the General Prosecutor's Office demanding punishment for officials responsible for these violations.
