According to Главком: Ukrainian tennis star Marta Kostyuk secured a quarterfinal victory at the Madrid tournament, marking her tenth career semifinal on the WTA Tour. This win guarantees her return to the world’s top 20 rankings and extends her current winning streak to 10 matches.

In Madrid, Kostyuk confidently defeated her opponents, which included:

• Jessica Pegula
• Caty McNally

Notably, Jessica Pegula is ranked world No. 5. In the quarterfinals, Kostyuk beat the 13th seed, Linda Noskova, earning her first WTA 1000 semifinal appearance in Madrid.
