З жовтня мешканці Рівного сплачуватимуть вищу ціну за проїзд у громадському транспорті: нові тарифи виставлено на розгляд.

From October 1, 2025, the cost of public transport in Rivne will significantly increase: a ticket in minibuses will cost 18 hryvnias, in trolleybuses – up to 14 hryvnias. Discount categories of passengers, including students, will continue to use discounts. This decision was made by the executive committee of Rivne city council on September 17, responding to rising fuel costs and inflation.

The new tariffs for public transport in Rivne will look like this:

  • Buses and minibuses: 18 UAH for a one-time ticket.

  • Trolleybuses:

    • 12 UAH – with a transport card;

    • 13 UAH – with a bank card payment;

    • 14 UAH – with cash payment.

For students, a 50% discount will apply: 9 hryvnias in minibuses and buses, 7 hryvnias in trolleybuses.

"The change in tariff will not affect discount categories of passengers in any way. Students will continue to be transported for half price", – emphasized Rivne City Council Secretary Viktor Shakiryzan.

Before the increase, the fare in trolleybuses was 8 hryvnias, while in minibuses and buses – 12 hryvnias.

In addition to transport, starting October 1, the fee for household waste management will also increase. The new tariffs are:

  • In Rivne:

    • 47.80 UAH (including VAT) – for apartment buildings;

    • 50.79 UAH (including VAT) – for private houses.

  • In the village of Kvasyliv:

    • 39.71 UAH (including VAT) – for apartment buildings;

    • 36.64 UAH (including VAT) – for private houses.

These changes are due to the increase in logistics costs and the need to modernize communal services. The city authorities explain that the increase in tariffs is necessary to ensure the stable operation of the transport system and the renewal of the trolleybus fleet. The implementation of differentiated tariffs in trolleybuses, in particular, encouraging cashless payments, is expected to reduce cash turnover and simplify accounting.

The previous increase in tariffs in Rivne occurred in 2023 against the backdrop of economic challenges caused by war and energy crisis.

It should be noted that at the beginning of September Klychko promised that fares in Kyiv transport would not increase until the end of the war.
