Night Attack by the Russian Federation: Which Regions Face New Power Outages
According to glavcom.ua: At night, Russian terrorists attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, resulting in power outages in several regions. Among the affected areas are Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv. This was reported by 'Glavkom', citing the Ministry of Energy.
'The situation with the energy system remains tense. Energy workers are working around the clock to eliminate the effects of terrorist attacks,' the statement reads.
From 00:00 to 23:59 today, electricity supply cut-off schedules and restrictions for industry and business will be in effect in all regions of Ukraine. The recommendation from the Ministry of Energy is to use electricity rationally, especially during peak consumption times in the morning and evening.
In Khmelnytskyi region, energy workers have restored electricity distribution to residents who were left without power after previous attacks. Although Russian shelling puts significant strain on the energy system, large-scale outages have been avoided. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk.
Ukraine is once again facing attacks on its energy infrastructure, but thanks to the diligent work of energy workers, it has so far managed to avoid widespread electricity supply problems. The situation remains tense, but work processes continue in the search for solutions and the mitigation of the consequences of the attacks.
