According to МЗС: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reacted to the IAEA's statement regarding the energy infrastructure, which was supported by 56 countries. The statement emphasizes that attacks on substations, which are vital for nuclear safety in Ukraine, are unacceptable and pose a threat to the region.
The Ministry expresses gratitude for the support and calls for increased pressure on Russia to cease aggression and restore security in Ukraine.
“This is a deliberate creation of threats of nuclear incidents with transboundary consequences by Russian terrorists.”
The Ukrainian MFA hopes for further partnership with international colleagues to protect nuclear safety in the region.
