The Ministry of Defense and the Private Sector Unite to Implement NATO Standards

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues to work on improving the state system of quality assurance for defense products. According to the agency's information, an agreement on cooperation was signed with the Civic Association 'League of Defense Enterprises of Ukraine'.

The document was signed by the head of the State Quality Assurance Department of the Ministry of Defense, Yevhen Kraskov, and the chairman of the League's board, Oleg Vysotsky.

The agreement envisions cooperation to implement modern approaches in quality management that meet the standards of NATO member states. The League promises to pass on the experience of implementing quality management systems that are already successfully operating in the member enterprises of the association to the Ministry of Defense specialists.

'Our goal is to provide the Defense Forces of Ukraine with quality weapons in accordance with the highest standards. The partnership with the 'League of Defense Enterprises of Ukraine' will help create a unified quality culture in the defense sector and enhance the country's defense capability,' emphasized Yevhen Kraskov.

The Ministry of Defense and the League of Defense Enterprises of Ukraine agreed on joint actions, such as conducting consultations, seminars, and conferences, supporting enterprises in implementing the quality management system according to NATO standards, exchanging information, and collaboratively drafting project documents in the field of quality. The 'League of Defense Enterprises of Ukraine' is a key association in the production of defense and dual-use products in Ukraine. They play an important role in the development of the private sector of the defense industry and supplying the Armed Forces with high-quality products.
