Testing of remote military registration

According to Главком: The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has started testing remote military registration in the Reserve+ application. This innovation allows men aged 25 to 59, as well as those turning 17 in 2026, to apply for registration. It is important to note that women who are subject to military registration by profession currently do not have access to online registration.

Men aged 18 to 24 are not involved in testing this feature. To participate in the Reserve+ testing, one must:

  • fill out the form;
  • wait for an email invitation;
  • install the application or update it to the latest version;
  • follow the instructions in the application and submit the request.

If the application is successfully submitted, the user will receive confirmation and their Reserve ID document.

Update of the Reserve+ application

Recently, the Reserve+ application was updated, and now a photo of the owner is automatically displayed in the electronic document. This will simplify the identification process and enhance the convenience of using the service. Testing this function is an important step in modernizing the military registration system in Ukraine.

The introduction of remote military registration in the Reserve+ application indicates the Ukrainian government's desire to simplify and improve the military registration process.

This innovation may reduce bureaucratic obstacles and increase the efficiency of citizen registration, which is extremely important in the face of modern challenges. However, it is essential to note that online registration is not yet available for all categories of the population, which may require further system improvements.
