Mortar woman Olha Serdiuk died on the Orikhiv front: the story of a defender from Kharkiv
According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainians honor the memory of those who died as a result of the Russo-Ukrainian war every day at 9 AM. Today we will remember Lyalya - Olha Serdiuk, who died during the repulsion of the Russian assault in the Orikhiv area.
Lyalya was born on January 5, 1983, in Kharkiv and served in the 130th territorial defense battalion. She was a mortarman and went to the front to defend her homeland.
«I do not want my children to run to other countries. I want my children to live in my hometown. I do not want the «Russian world» to come here. That's all,» Olha said.
Olha Serdiuk was left behind by her tankist husband and two daughters. She died on August 9, 2025, giving her life for her country. The process of honoring the memory of the Heroine has now begun, so that her deeds and life are not forgotten.
Ukrainians honor the memory of all their compatriots who have died during the Russo-Ukrainian war. This is yet another case where people give their lives for the freedom and independence of their state.
