Monobank simplifies dollar and euro transfers: who can now receive money in currency
The Ukrainian digital bank Monobank has introduced a new service that allows clients to officially transfer currency to their close relatives. This was announced by the bank's co-founder Oleg Gorokhovsky.
According to the announcement, users can now transfer dollars or euros to the Monobank cards of their relatives, provided they submit documents confirming their relationship. 'You can transfer dollars or euros to your close relatives to the Monobank card if you send us a photo of your relationship documents,' Gorokhovsky noted.
According to hvylya.net: The service is available for a wide range of relatives, including wives, husbands, and children, siblings, nephews, grandparents, and grandchildren, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins. To initiate a currency transfer, clients need to contact Monobank's customer support. The bank did not specify the exact timeframe for verifying the submitted documents.
An important condition is that the transfer must be made in the currency of the recipient's card. Otherwise, the funds will automatically be credited to the hryvnia account, meaning that euros cannot be transferred to a dollar card and vice versa.
PrivatBank reduced the commission for currency transfers
The emergence of a new service from Monobank, which allows clients to transfer currency to relatives, is an additional convenient solution for bank users. Such opportunities facilitate convenient and quick financial transfers between family members, enhancing the convenience and accessibility of banking services.
