Frost on Christmas: forecasters predict up to -13 degrees at night

According to ХВИЛЯ: In Ukraine, frosty temperatures are expected on Christmas. On the night of December 25 to 26, temperatures in most regions will fluctuate from -5 to -13 degrees. During the day, temperatures will drop to -3 to -8 degrees, while in Transcarpathia and Crimea, the temperature will remain around zero.

In Kyiv, on Christmas, the temperature at night will be -10 degrees, and during the day – from -3 to -4 degrees. Forecasters predict that on December 26, atmospheric fronts will come to Ukraine, leading to snowfall and increased wind. As noted by forecaster Natalia Didenko,

This forecast may affect Christmas celebrations in Ukraine, as low temperatures and possible snowfall could limit outdoor activities and force people to spend more time at home. Given the traditional customs of celebration, many Ukrainians may choose to celebrate Christmas with family, which, in turn, may increase the demand for hot drinks and dishes.

At the same time, the cold weather may pose additional challenges for municipal services and traffic in some regions.
