Language ombudsman Kremen discussed the promise that Minister of Culture Toczynski did not fulfill

According to glavcom.ua: Language ombudsman Taras Kremen talked about how his promise to support for a second term was never fulfilled. He emphasized that perhaps his independence was too evident, which hindered his nomination for the competition. At the same time, he noted that he has an open relationship with the Minister of Culture. It has also become known that the nomination of other candidates for the post of language ombudsman was likely a surprise for Kremen himself.

A staffing scandal is unfolding in Ukraine's language space due to the competition for the language ombudsman position. The dismissal of one candidate has opened the way for other alternative candidates, the main of which are actor Alexander Zavalny and associate professor Irina Koval-Fuchilo.
