Ukraine's Health Ministry Launches 'Operation Vaccination' Interactive Exhibits for Children Across Seven Regions
'Operation Vaccination': An Interactive Educational Exhibit
According to Міністерство Здоров'я: From April 19th to May 3rd, an interactive educational exhibit and quiz titled 'Operation Vaccination' will tour seven regions of Ukraine. The initiative is designed to reach children in safe environments, including children's hospitals, schools, libraries, and even bomb shelters, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The event is organized by Ukraine's Ministry of Health (MOH) and the World Health Organization (WHO), with support from Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.
Regions and Activities for Children
The traveling exhibition will visit the following regions:
- Kharkiv
- Sumy
- Chernihiv
- Kherson
- Khmelnytskyi
- Ternopil
- Kyiv
Children will have the opportunity to learn about infectious diseases that have been defeated through vaccination, participate in an interactive quiz, and take on the role of scientific researchers. This initiative is part of broader efforts to maintain public health infrastructure during a time of conflict.
On-site medical professionals will be present to provide consultations, update vaccination schedules, and administer vaccines. Specific dates, times, and locations for events in each region will be announced on the social media channels of the respective Oblast Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
