According to МВС: The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has opened a call for experienced professionals to join its Situational Analysis and Forecasting Unit. They are hiring lead specialists for two key departments:

• Department of Security Environment Analysis and Forecasting
• Department of Operational Information

Roles and Responsibilities of Each Department

The Security Environment Analysis and Forecasting Department is responsible for:

• Assessing the current security landscape across Ukraine;
• Projecting future security trends;
• Evaluating risks and threats within the Ministry’s scope;
• Conducting specialized research on criminal and migration-related issues.

Meanwhile, the Operational Information Department focuses on:

• Gathering and synthesizing data from multiple sources;
• Monitoring the situation in real time and providing timely updates;
• Preparing informative and analytical presentation materials;
• Simulating scenarios and forecasting outcomes of management decisions.

Candidates for these positions must meet the following criteria:

• Possession of a higher education degree;
• Familiarity with Ukrainian legislation governing the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
• Proficiency in the Ukrainian language;
• English language skills are an advantage;
• Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), CorelDRAW, and Adobe Photoshop;
• Strong analytical abilities.
