Partnership Between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Entrepreneurship and Export Development Office

According to МЗС: Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the state-run Entrepreneurship and Export Development Office have signed a cooperation memorandum to strengthen support for Ukrainian businesses in foreign markets. The document was signed by State Secretary of the Ministry Oleksandr Karasevych and Director of the Entrepreneurship and Export Development Office Andrii Talamai in the presence of Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis. This agreement comes at a critical time for Ukraine's economy, as expanding exports is vital for national resilience.

Key Provisions of the Memorandum

The memorandum's key provisions include:

• Providing Ukrainian businesses with up-to-date information on foreign markets,
• Organizing training sessions and business events,
• Supporting the participation of Ukrainian companies in international exhibitions and forums.

Furthermore, the collaboration will involve coordinated joint efforts to promote Ukrainian goods and services abroad.

A crucial component of this initiative is the implementation of the national project Diia.Business, which is carried out by the Entrepreneurship and Export Development Office in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. The Diia.Business portal features a dedicated module for exporters, designed to facilitate the development of foreign economic activity.

The memorandum establishes a framework for enhanced work involving the economic departments of Ukraine's diplomatic missions abroad. These departments will supply current information on foreign markets, trade fairs, contacts of potential partners, and other vital resources for Ukrainian entrepreneurs. This cooperation aims to create favorable conditions for Ukrainian companies to enter international markets and expand their opportunities.
