The new buses in Vinnytsia started operating on these routes
In Vinnytsia, new Solaris buses have started operating on two popular routes - №32 and №5. This modern gas-powered transport works independently of power outages and provides easier boarding and greater capacity. This is reported by CVD referring to the city council.
Which routes received the new buses
Routes №32 "Railway Station – Sahariv" and №5 "Leonid Kadenyuk – Pyatnychany" became the first where the new rolling stock was launched. In total, Vinnytsia received seven Solaris buses, five of which are undergoing preparation to go to other lines. The city emphasizes that these routes are among the most loaded, which is why they received transport first.
The Solaris salon features comfort solutions:
-
low floor for quick boarding;
-
places for people with disabilities and passengers with strollers;
-
climate control system;
-
automated payment accounting;
-
natural gas operation, reducing noise and emissions;
-
additional mirrors for driver cabin control.
Why these buses are important for the city
Solaris is a 12-meter bus with a capacity of 86 passengers. It is fully adapted to operate in conditions of power supply interruptions, which allows maintaining the regularity of routes during attacks on the energy system. Mayor Serhiy Morgunov notes that gas buses can be easily redirected to the necessary routes, ensuring stability in transportation. The transport is also equipped with climate systems and additional informational services - part of the technology was installed in Vinnytsia.
Earlier, we reported that in Vinnytsia it was determined how urban transport will operate during a blackout.
