This weekend Kyivpastrans will change the routes of buses and trolleybuses
In Kyiv on the weekend of December 20 and 21, the movement patterns of some buses and trolleybuses will change. The restrictions apply to several popular routes in various districts of the capital and will last during the food fairs. This is reported by 44.ua.
Kyivpastrans explained that the changes are related to the temporary closure of certain streets. Passengers are asked to plan their trips in advance and consider the updated public transport routes.
Change of public transport routes in Kyiv on December 20
On Saturday, December 20, the adjustments will affect the following routes:

buses No. 2, 39, 98, 110;
-
trolleybus No. 34.
Transport will operate on detours through the avenues and streets, including Holosiivskyi Avenue, Red Kalyna Avenue, Serhii Lifar Street, Honoré de Balzac Street, Lysohirska and other sections, bypassing the locations of the fairs.
Change of public transport routes in Kyiv on December 21
On Sunday, December 21, changes will apply for the following routes:

bus No. 31;
-
buses No. 110 and No. 112.
Traffic will be organized with detours around Tatar Street and Ihor Yukhnovskyi Street, while maintaining the reverse direction unchanged. Some routes will temporarily pass through Beresteyskyi Avenue, Dehtiarivska, Belaruska, Yuriy Illienko Streets and adjacent areas.
Why the routes were changed
The reason for the restrictions was the planned organization of food fairs on several streets in the capital, namely Holosiivska, Serhii Lifar, Yordanska, Academician Shalimov, Tatar and Ihor Yukhnovskyi Streets. After the fairs, public transport will return to its usual routes.
