Ukraine will be represented by the band Tvorchi at Eurovision 2023.
They won the National Selection.
Tvorchi is a group from Ternopil. It was founded in 2018 by sound producer Andriy Hutsulyak and vocalist Jeffrey Kenny. They met by chance when Hutsulyak decided to talk to the Nigerian student Kenny on the street to check his level of English. Subsequently, Hutsulyak became a music producer, while Kenny became a songwriter and vocalist. They create music in pop, indie-pop, and electronic styles.

Tvorchi will perform at Eurovision in Liverpool.
The grand final of Eurovision 2023 will take place at the Liverpool Arena, currently known as MS Bank Arena Liverpool, by the River Mersey on May 13, 2023.
It was previously announced that Ukraine would not be able to host Eurovision 2023. This was decided by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) for security reasons. On July 27, it was finalized that the contest would take place in the United Kingdom, but on behalf of Ukraine.
On May 14, the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 took place in Turin, Italy. This year, the winner was Ukraine, represented by the band Kalush Orchestra, which scored a total of 631 points: 192 from the jury and 439 from the audience.
The United Kingdom, represented by Sam Ryder, came in second place with 466 points. Spain, represented by singer Chanel, took third place with 459 points.
