179 Combat Engagements in One Day: Pokrovsk Sector Sees the Most Intense Fighting

According to Главком: On June 13, Ukrainian forces recorded 179 combat clashes across the front lines. The enemy carried out 65 airstrikes, dropping 196 guided aerial bombs. In total, Russian troops deployed 6,438 kamikaze drones and launched 2,154 artillery barrages targeting Ukrainian positions and populated areas. The most severe fighting unfolded in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian troops eliminated 54 Russian soldiers.
Additional losses inflicted on Russian forces in the Pokrovsk sector include:
- 14 wounded enemy personnel;
- 4 military vehicles;
- 7 pieces of specialized equipment;
- 3 artillery systems damaged;
- 1 additional military vehicle.
Ukrainian defenders also destroyed or neutralized 344 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types in this sector.
In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors, two combat engagements took place. There, the enemy launched 3 airstrikes using 9 guided aerial bombs and conducted 57 shelling attacks, 6 of which came from multiple launch rocket systems. On the Southern Slobozhanskyi axis, Russian forces attempted to storm Ukrainian positions five times.
On the Kupiansk axis, one enemy assault was recorded near Novoplatonivka. Ukrainian troops in the Lyman sector repelled 11 attempts by the enemy to advance, while on the Sloviansk axis, 10 attacks were stopped. In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian forces successfully defended against 9 assaults, and on the Pokrovsk front, the enemy launched 27 attacks.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, Ukrainian troops halted one enemy attack near Vorone. In the Huliaipole sector, 22 combat engagements occurred. On the Orikhiv front, two enemy attempts to push forward were stopped.
This marks the 1,571st day of Russia's full-scale war in Ukraine. The situation on the front lines remains tense, particularly in key sectors where Ukrainian soldiers continue to effectively repel enemy offensives.
The ongoing hostilities in Ukraine reflect sustained military operations from both sides. The Pokrovsk sector remains a critical focal point, with the enemy concentrating significant resources there, as evidenced by the high number of attacks and airstrikes. Ukrainian forces, in turn, are demonstrating resilience and effectiveness in defense, indicating their readiness for prolonged combat in this region.
