12-Hour Continuous Foot Massage Sets a New National Record in Ukraine's Lviv Region
Ukraine’s Record-Breaking Foot Massage Marathon in Skhidnytsia
According to Главком: A new national record was achieved in Skhidnytsia, located in the Lviv region, for a non-stop 12-hour foot massage session. The feat was accomplished by Roman Malchevsky, a seasoned massage therapist with 16 years of professional experience. The marathon ran from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with each participant receiving a 20-minute treatment. Malchevsky worked in three-hour blocks, followed by 15-minute rest periods.
Officials from the National Record Registry of Ukraine, Lana Vyetrova and Dmytro Yesypchuk, were on hand to verify the attempt.
'I don’t feel tired at all. On the contrary, my adrenaline is through the roof. Around New Year’s, a friend suggested I go for a Ukrainian record. I went through all the necessary steps. First and foremost, I want to prove to myself that I can be better. Secondly, I want to put our Skhidnytsia on the map. This is the first record for this type of massage not just in Skhidnytsia, but in the entire Lviv region.' - Roman Malchevsky
This achievement has become a significant moment for the local community, drawing attention to Skhidnytsia’s potential as a spa and wellness destination. The record was set as part of a broader effort to promote massage therapy and healthy living.
Boosting the Region’s Resort Industry
Beyond showcasing Roman Malchevsky’s expertise, this foot massage record opens up new opportunities for the resort business in the area. Skhidnytsia, already known for its natural resources and therapeutic treatments, could become an attractive destination for tourists seeking both relaxation and health improvement. This milestone may also spark greater interest in massage services across Ukraine, increasing their popularity among the general public.
