У Одеській області водойма змінила свій колір на рожевий: екологи вивчають причини цього явища.

In the village of Zherebkove, part of the Ananyiv community in Odesa region, an extraordinary phenomenon has occurred: the water in the local pond has turned pink, and dead fish were washed ashore. This was reported by

, citing the State Ecological Inspection of the Southwestern Region.

On October 13, 2025, specialists from the State Ecological Inspection of the Southwestern Region conducted an inspection of pond No. 3 in the village of Zherebkove. They collected water samples for laboratory analysis and sent them to the Ukrainian Scientific Center for Marine Ecology and the Basin Water Resources Management of the Black Sea and Lower Danube Rivers.

Let us remind you that a mass fish die-off in the Ploska River in Khmelnytskyi occurred on August 22, prompting local authorities to contact law enforcement. According to the Deputy Mayor Mykola Vavyryshchuk, a possible source of water pollution with chemicals has been identified, which may lead to the fish die-off. Laboratory studies of the water are currently underway, and the Khmelnytskyi regional prosecutor's office has initiated a criminal proceeding to investigate the circumstances of this incident.

Unusual ecological phenomena, such as pink water and mass fish die-offs, are observed in Ukraine's water bodies. These situations prompt authorities and environmental organizations to conduct thorough inspections and studies to determine the causes of these phenomena and prevent similar situations in the future.
