Russia has sharply intensified shelling in the south: the number of strikes has increased eightfold

Spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces Vladislav Voloshin reported that the number of missile strikes has increased eightfold, and the use of 'Shaheds' has risen by 70%, with attacks using loitering munitions tripling compared to the previous week.
'Compared to last week, the situation has somewhat deteriorated and the number of various types of weapons used by the enemy has increased. First of all, the enemy has increased the number of missile strikes in the south eightfold,' Voloshin reported.
Russians are heavily shelling Ukrainian Defense Forces, cities, and villages in the south. The activity of drones of the 'Shahed'/'Geran' type has increased. The number of 'Shaheds' being used has risen by 70%. Additionally, the enemy is daily employing dozens of loitering munitions such as 'Molniya', 'Privet-82', and 'Lancet'. Kamikaze drones are particularly actively used in the Zaporizhzhia directions, often in support of assault actions, and the number of artillery shelling has increased.
According to the latest report from the spokesman of the Defense Forces, the intensity of shelling by Russian occupiers in the south has significantly increased, posing a threat to the life and safety of the civilian population and Ukrainian military personnel.
