In Rivne region, a thief will be tried: robbed 8 apartments for 4 million UAH

According to Главком: A man will be tried in the Rivne region for robbing eight apartments in Rivne, causing damage of almost 4 million UAH. The criminal, who is 43 years old, was arrested in August last year. The investigator informed him of his suspicion of committing crimes under parts 4 and 5 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 60 days. The possibility of bail for the suspect amounts to over 900 thousand hryvnias. If his guilt is proven, he faces imprisonment of seven to 12 years with confiscation of property. The man is a resident of Rivne and is currently awaiting trial.
