Norwegian Delegation in Ukraine: What Identification Procedures Were Studied

Norwegian experts visited Transcarpathia to familiarize themselves with Ukrainian procedures. The delegation from the Norwegian Identification Center, led by Ms. Kristina Robertsson and Mr. Jon Gerhard Loevendahl, arrived on site to learn more about passport issuance and the work of the migration service in Ukraine.

During the first day of the visit, the Norwegian delegation was welcomed by the heads of state migration services. After that, the specialists visited the offices of the migration service in Transcarpathia, where they became acquainted with all the stages of working with passports and the modern technical means used for the identification of persons.

Ms. Robertsson was impressed by the visit: 'We received a lot of useful information that we will now analyze in detail. This experience will inspire us for further work.'

Mr. Loevendahl emphasized the importance of exchanging knowledge between countries: 'The openness of our Ukrainian colleagues and the opportunity to see the work firsthand is extremely valuable for our cooperation.'

Representatives of the Norwegian delegation emphasized that the experience gained in Transcarpathia will help improve identification processes in Norway and enhance cooperation with Ukraine in the field of migration.
