According to glavcom.ua: At the 'Kupol' factory in Izhevsk, there was a drone attack that damaged four workshops for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The operation of the enterprise has been suspended, reports the publication 'Glavkom' citing Astra.

As a result of the strike by two drones, the building of the first production hall, where drones are produced, was damaged. One drone hit the window of workshop 106, while the second struck the roof of workshop 110, exploded and caused a fire. The roof of the building collapsed over an area of 1300 sq. m.

Workshops engaged in metal processing and soldering of chips, as well as the production of finished UAVs, have also been damaged. The production site specializes in the development and production of chips for military drones, but due to the attack, the factory's operations have been suspended. Three people died, and 45 were injured, of which 35 were hospitalized.

It should be noted that on the morning of July 1, drones of the Security Service of Ukraine attacked the production facilities of the Izhevsk 'Kupol' factory in Udmurtia.

The factory is under international sanctions as part of the Russian military-industrial complex. At least two instances of SBU drones hitting factory buildings have been recorded, leading to fires.

The enterprise, which specializes in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles and chips for military drones, suffered from the drone attack, resulting in significant material losses and human casualties. The 'Kupol' factory in Izhevsk is currently at a standstill, and the results of the investigation into the circumstances of the incident may have important repercussions for international relations and regional security.
