NABU and SAP announced suspicion against MP Didenko: what the couple is accused of

During the investigation, it was established that Hryhoriy Didenko and Yuliya Didenko acquired property worth almost 5 million UAH between 2021 and 2024 without confirmed sources of income. Among the assets are contributions for apartments and two Audi SQ8 cars (released in 2021 and 2024). The actions of the suspects are classified under Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and the investigation is ongoing.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) have announced suspicion against the head of the Odesa Regional Council, Hryhoriy Didenko, and his wife, Yuliya Didenko, a people's deputy of the IX convocation. According to the investigation, the couple did not declare property worth over 8 million UAH in their annual property declarations for the years 2021-2023. In addition, the SAP prosecutor filed a suit to recognize the couple's assets worth nearly 5 million UAH as unjustified for their confiscation in favor of the state.
