Naftogaz will disconnect gas for minimal debts: new rules for the heating season

With the approach of the heating season, Ukrainians will face strict new rules for gas supply from NJSC 'Naftogaz of Ukraine'. In particular, the company has changed its approaches to disconnecting consumers, which may lead to disconnections even for minor debts.According to the 'Fixed' tariff plan, gas prices for household consumers of Naftogaz remain unchanged at 7.96 hryvnias per cubic meter until the end of April. However, other suppliers' prices may reach between 8.46 to 27 hryvnias per cubic meter, which is significantly higher than the state tariff.Special attention is also paid to paying bills for gas distribution, as these payments are the reason for most disconnections in the regions. Therefore, it is important to pay for gas distribution on time by the 20th of each month, and for supply by the 25th of the following month.
