NBU fined 6 companies millions: why Industrial Bank and others were punished

The largest fine of over 9.6 million hryvnias was imposed on 'Lineura Ukraine', which, according to the regulator, committed the most serious deviations. 'Industrial Bank' is required to pay 800 thousand hryvnias. Other parties involved in the case - 'Mare', 'Midl', 'ProfitGuid', and 'Miloan' - received smaller sanctions, but all violations are associated with critically important risks to financial stability.

In July 2025, the National Bank of Ukraine intensified control over compliance with financial legislation, imposing multimillion-dollar sanctions on six institutions, including 'Industrial Bank'. The penalties were for violations not only related to technical deficiencies but also for systemic negligence in preventing money laundering, financing terrorism, and violations of the currency regime.
