According to hvylya.net: The NBU unexpectedly announced that since the beginning of 2024, it has not printed new 100-hryvnia banknotes, and since the beginning of 2023 - 200-hryvnia banknotes. This decision is linked to the reduction in cash issuance due to the conditions of the war. Nevertheless, the central bank has reserves and plans to issue new banknotes with the slogan 'Glory to Ukraine!'.
The process of printing banknotes at the National Bank of Ukraine is undergoing significant changes due to the war, but the regulator has plans to ensure the population has the necessary amount of cash if needed.
