NBU introduced a new coin: what it looks like

According to hvylya.net: The new coin is made of a zinc-based alloy with a nickel coating, and it looks very beautiful. On one side, there is the denomination, the year of minting, and the State Emblem of Ukraine in ancient Russian ornamentation. On the reverse side, there are representatives of various police units symbolizing professionalism and courage. This side also highlights the emblem of the National Police of Ukraine - an eight-pointed star with the State Emblem of Ukraine in the center. Impressive!

The National Bank of Ukraine has issued a new commemorative coin with a face value of 10 hryvnias, dedicated to the National Police of Ukraine. The purpose of the coin is to honor the professionalism, bravery, and dedication of police officers who ensure the safety of citizens every day.

Numismatic collectors will have a great opportunity to enrich their collections, as 20 thousand rolls will be issued with 25 commemorative coins each. Starting from July 8, 2025, these rolls will be available for purchase in the online store of the NBU's numismatic products, as well as at distributing banks.
