Pension can be increased by 45%: how to do it while working after 60 years
Ukrainians who continue to work after reaching retirement age can expect an increased pension amount. According to the country's legislation, the pension amount can grow due to additional insurance experience acquired after retirement.
If one applies for a pension later, bonuses may be added to the payment. By law, the pension increases by 0.5% for each full month of insurance experience if retirement is postponed up to 60 months.
If the postponement exceeds 60 months, the bonus will be 0.75% for each month.
There is also an increase of 2.5% for every six months of postponed retirement after the age of 55 for individuals who have not received any pension before reaching 60 years old. This provision promotes increasing pension payments for women of retirement age.
The legislation of Ukraine provides for the possibility of receiving an increased pension amount for those who continue to work even after retirement. Additional insurance experience allows citizens to receive higher payments, which can be particularly important for the elderly.
