Local residents are sharing shocking reports on social media about the amount of precipitation and transportation costs. According to them, cars can be drowned during trips around the city.
Heavy rain and stopped public transport
Recall that heavy rain has led to the suspension of part of public transport in Odesa and significant flooding of the streets. In many parts of the city, traffic is complicated or even impossible. The city authorities urge drivers to be cautious and to avoid driving in the center.
Due to the heavy precipitation, tram and trolleybus services in the city have been partially suspended. The lines of some trams have been de-energized, so they are temporarily not running. Also, some trolleybuses have shortened their routes.
