The most intense explosions were reported in the areas around the cities of Sochi and Adler, beginning around 10:00 PM local time. Authorities in the region activated an anti-drone threat protocol and temporarily restricted operations at the airports in Sochi and Gelendzhik. The Kerch Bridge was also completely closed from 7:00 PM on Saturday. These attacks highlight the expanding reach of aerial warfare in the ongoing conflict.

Simultaneously, similar incidents were reported overnight on February 12 in several other Russian regions. In Volgograd Oblast, in the settlement of Kotluban, Governor Andrey Bocharov confirmed an attack and a fire at a facility belonging to the Ministry of Defense. In the city of Michurinsk in Tambov Oblast, a fire broke out on the territory of the Progress plant. In Bryansk Oblast, explosions were heard around midnight on the outskirts of Bryansk, as well as in the towns of Dyatkovo, Fokino, and Sel'tso. Power outages were recorded in the regional capital.

Local residents reported a series of powerful explosions near the location of an arsenal belonging to the Russian Defense Ministry's Main Rocket and Artillery Directorate (GRAU). A series of explosions also thundered in occupied Kerch, indicating a massed attack by jet-powered drones in Bryansk Oblast.
