According to Главком: A Russian drone struck a private home in the Verkhnyosyrovatska community of Sumy district during the night of June 27. A 66-year-old man lost his life in the incident. This attack serves as yet another example of Russian aggression targeting Ukrainian civilians.

That same night, an enemy drone damaged the roof of a multi-story residential building in Sumy's Zarichny district. At approximately 11:05 PM, a drone-likely a Molniya-type-hit the roof of an apartment block, causing damage to the roofing and technical floor. No casualties were reported from this strike on the apartment building.

Attacks on Civilian Infrastructure

These events come amid a series of recent Russian assaults on Sumshchyna. On June 23, for instance, the enemy launched six guided aerial bombs at an industrial zone on the outskirts of the Sumy community, destroying a trolleybus and injuring its driver. Over the course of June 14, 17 communities in the region came under fire, resulting in two deaths and four injuries.

Oleh Hryhorov stated: 'The enemy continues to attack residential areas and civilian infrastructure. The threat remains.'
