The Netherlands has decided to allocate €10 million to support Ukraine in the field of digital security. It has been noted that these funds will be used for the participation of Ukrainian specialists in the British cyber program. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands believes that this assistance will help in Ukraine's response to cyber aggression, which has occurred due to constant Russian cyberattacks.

«Great Britain is our important partner in enhancing Ukraine's resilience. That is why the Netherlands has decided to provide assistance of €10 million for participation in the British cyber program for Ukraine», reported Minister David van Wield.

This decision was made in response to a series of Russian cyberattacks on Ukraine. This assistance is an attempt to enhance the level of protection of Ukrainian information systems and develop Ukraine's cyber capabilities.

Cybersecurity standards for Ukrainian government organizations

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has approved a new industry security profile, which establishes mandatory cybersecurity standards for all information systems within the department. The new requirements are aimed at increasing the level of protection against leaks of important information and cyberattacks.

European countries are strengthening cooperation and assistance in the field of digital security to support Ukraine in the fight against cyber threats and ensure stability in the region. The Netherlands has allocated a significant amount of funds for the participation of Ukrainian specialists in the British cyber program, which will contribute to enhancing cybersecurity and developing Ukraine's cyber capabilities. In turn, Ukraine has taken measures to establish mandatory cybersecurity standards for government structures to ensure compliance with minimum requirements in the field of information security.
