Suspect Arrested for Allegedly Plotting Attack on Princesses

According to Главком: A 33-year-old man has been detained by Dutch authorities on suspicion of planning an attack against Princesses Catharina-Amalia and Alexia. The alleged plot was set for February of this year. During the arrest, officers seized two axes bearing the carved name of Princess Alexia, alongside inscriptions reading 'Mossad' and the Nazi salute 'Sieg Heil.' Investigators also discovered a handwritten note listing both princesses’ names and the word 'Bloedbad,' which translates to 'bloodbath.' The suspect’s motives remain unclear at this stage.

Prosecutors have charged the individual with preparing an attack. The first preliminary hearing is scheduled for this coming Monday at The Hague court. The suspect’s lawyer has declined to comment on the case.

Royal Family Security Under Scrutiny

This incident highlights ongoing security concerns surrounding the Dutch monarchy. In 2022, Princess Catharina-Amalia was forced to abandon her student life in Amsterdam due to persistent threats. She subsequently lived and studied in Madrid for over a year under the protection of Spanish intelligence services. Currently, Princess Amalia has officially begun serving as a corporal in the Royal Netherlands Air Force. She is working as a military student trainee within an Air Force reserve unit. As reported,

'Princess Amalia today joined the Royal Netherlands Air Force with the rank of corporal. She serves there as a military student trainee.'

The arrest underscores the troubling threat environment faced by Dutch royals, particularly in light of previous dangers targeting Princess Catharina-Amalia. Law enforcement’s swift action demonstrates their commitment to protecting high-profile figures. The upcoming court proceedings and further investigations may reveal the suspect’s motivations and any potential links to extremist groups.
