Nova Poshta announces mass layoffs: what is known about the company's plans

According to hvylya.net: Despite the layoffs, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development continues to provide financial support to 'Nova Poshta'. The company has a network of more than 12 thousand outlets and 27 thousand postal machines, serving over 11 million customers monthly across Ukraine. The company's financial performance, although with controversial dynamics, showed an increase in net revenue in the first quarter of 2025, but a decrease in net profit.
The largest private postal operator in Ukraine, 'Nova Poshta', plans to lay off about 2,900 employees by the end of the current year. This constitutes 10% of the total number of company employees. Management is auditing the work of 7,000 office staff, planning to transfer half of them to other positions or lay them off.
