Nova Post Launches Seven-Day Courier Delivery Service in the Czech Republic

Courier Delivery by Nova Post Now Available in the Czech Republic

According to Главком: Nova Post has introduced a courier delivery service across five regions of the Czech Republic, operating every day of the week with two-hour delivery windows. The service covers Prague, the Plzeň Region, the South Moravian Region, the Moravian-Silesian Region, and the Karlovy Vary Region. Customers receive mandatory advance notification before the courier arrives.

Users can request a courier for sending or receiving a package within the same city, with pickup or delivery completed in one to two hours. Within 24 hours, parcels can reach 16 cities across the Czech Republic, as well as Bratislava, Milan, Warsaw, and Berlin. Delivery to Lviv takes two business days. Starting in June, Nova Post plans to extend this service to all regions of the Czech Republic.

Shipping Process and Payment Options

The shipping process is streamlined: the courier provides all necessary packaging materials, and parcel labeling can be handled either by the courier or the customer, who can mark the tracking number in any convenient way. Payment for delivery can be made online, in cash, or by bank card via a POS terminal. When picking up a parcel from a parcel locker, payment is processed through the Nova Post mobile app.

As of April 13, 2023, the company updated its tariffs, affecting the cost of document, parcel, and cargo deliveries within cities and across Ukraine. Additionally, Nova Post has entered into a partnership with American logistics giant UPS to transport parcels from the United States to Ukraine.
