A new Ukrainian consulate opens in Poland: which city
A new Ukrainian consulate will be established in Poland soon. The consular office is planned to be opened in Poznań, which aims to expand access for Ukrainians to state services in the western part of the country. This is reported by inpoland.net.pl.
The plans for the opening of the new institution were announced by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland, Vasyl Bodnar, in an interview with the agency 'Ukrinform'. According to him, the launch of the consulate in Poznań is part of the strategy to expand Ukraine's network of foreign diplomatic institutions in Poland.
The New Ukrainian Consulate in Poland: What We Know
This will be the seventh consular institution of Ukraine in Poland. Its opening is expected to reduce the burden on the already existing consulates and facilitate access for Ukrainian citizens to document processing and other consular services in the region.
It is expected that the head of the newly established consulate will arrive in Poznań this month. After that, the organizational stage necessary for the full operation of the institution will begin.
Expansion of Ukraine's Consular Network in Poland
The ambassador also reported that the Ukrainian consulate in Gdańsk will receive the status of a general consulate. This decision is expected to enhance the capabilities of the institution and improve services for Ukrainians living in the northern regions of Poland.
