Zelensky's meeting with Macron: what was decided

According to hvylya.net: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a very productive conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. The discussion lasted an hour and focused primarily on the situation at the front and the defensive needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Particular attention was given to strengthening Ukraine's air defense. According to Zelensky's statement, agreements have been reached on the supply of missiles for the SAMP/T systems and financing of interceptor drones. Additionally, Ukrainian pilots will be trained to operate 'Mirage' fighters.

The strategic partnership between Ukraine, France, and other countries will help enhance defensive capabilities and protect the civilian population from Russian attacks

It was also noted about further coordination within the 'coalition of the willing' and implementation of decisions made at the previous meeting. Zelensky expressed gratitude to France for its active participation in shaping EU sanctions, emphasizing that prolonging the war should inflict painful consequences on Russia.

The Ukrainian leader also mentioned cooperation with American partners to increase pressure on Russia. Earlier, Ukraine called on partners to finance the interceptor drone program.

During the meeting between the Presidents of Ukraine and France, a number of important decisions were made regarding the strengthening of Ukraine's defensive capabilities, including the supply of missiles and financing of interceptor drones. Cooperation within the 'coalition of the willing' and support from allies to counter Russian aggression was also discussed.
