New vaccination calendar from 2026: what changes await Ukrainians
The first 202 medical professionals successfully completed training to become regional trainers for implementing changes to the Vaccination Calendar. This stage is part of a cascading program to prepare medical personnel for the new Calendar, which will come into effect on January 1, 2026, as reported by the Ministry of Health.
Experts from various institutions conducted 8-hour sessions for medical professionals who will carry out immunization in communities. By the end of 2025, more than 20,000 doctors and nurses across the country will have undergone such training.
'The introduction of changes to the Vaccination Calendar is an important part of the Government's actions and systemic transformation in the field of immunoprophylaxis. This new approach harmonizes Ukrainian standards with European ones, which will contribute to the improvement of the vaccination system,' explained the Ministry of Health.

Changes in the vaccination system are anticipated, harmonizing Ukrainian standards with European ones, with the aim of improving immunoprophylaxis in Ukraine.
