Development of the new Labor Code in Ukraine

According to Мін. Економіки: The development of the new Labor Code in Ukraine has been ongoing for over two years. The main goal of this project is to bring it closer to EU standards. As part of the changes, nine types of labor contracts are being introduced to ensure greater flexibility in labor relations.

In addition, the new code provides for an increase in the minimum paid vacation from 24 to 28 days. These changes aim to reflect the modern needs of the workforce and promote better working conditions in Ukraine. The document was developed in collaboration with businesses, trade unions, the expert community, and international partners, as noted by Darina Marchak.
