Exchangers set a 'wide spread': what will the currency rate be on July 13
Currency rates: dollar and euro
The past week did not bring clear answers regarding the further development of the trade wars between the USA and the European Union, but postponed the decision to a later date, which somewhat alleviated the dollar against the euro. According to the Ministry of Finance, the dollar rate rose by 4 kopecks to 41.76/41.80 UAH per dollar, while the euro lost 23 kopecks, settling at the level of 48.8257/48.8558 UAH due to global factors.
The cash dollar rate is expected to remain within relatively stable limits: buying from 41.30 to 41.65 UAH, selling from 41.70 to 42.00 UAH. The cash euro rate will also fluctuate within a certain corridor: buying from 48.30 to 49.05 UAH, selling from 49.10 to 49.60 UAH.
Given the ongoing global uncertainty, exchange owners will continue to set a wide spread. Calculated rates may be adjusted by individual exchangers by 'plus or minus' 5-10 kopecks depending on regional competition.
Experts also warn about the increase in counterfeit dollars and euros, so one should be cautious when exchanging currency.
Despite the global uncertainty in the world, the dollar and euro rates consistently hold at a certain level. Predicting their further movement is not so easy, but investors and clients of exchangers should be prepared for possible fluctuations.
