Earthquake in Turkey and explosion in Sakhalin: main world events for the day

According to the Main Department of Publishing and Printing of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Russian terrorists struck a recreation base in Novhorod-Siverskyi and launched drone strikes on a civilian facility, resulting in a fire and injuring an elderly woman.

President of the United States Donald Trump met with the new Prime Minister of Japan, Sanae Takaiichi, in Tokyo to discuss important bilateral relations. They discussed trade and security issues, as well as signed a framework agreement on the supply of critical minerals and rare earths to both markets.
