In March 2024, during the same shelling, his wife Anna and their four-month-old son Tymofiy were killed.

The night of March 2, 2024, became tragic for the Haidarchi family when Russian invaders launched eight Shahed-type strike drones. Seven of the drones were shot down, but one hit a nine-story building in Odesa, resulting in the deaths of the mother and the infant. Anna Haidarchi was the daughter of Mykola Sidak, the pastor of the Odesa Peresyp Church.
