Ban on Russian-language content in the Odesa club

The head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, signed an order to prohibit the operation of the hotel and restaurant complex 'Palladium' during the inspection for the presence of Russian-language content. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing Kiper's statement.

Kiper emphasized that all public catering, recreation, entertainment and trade establishments in the region must comply with the legislation on the state language, culture, public order and the requirements of martial law.

'Departments of the regional military administration, heads of communities and other state bodies have been instructed to stop such violations and to clarify the legal requirements to entrepreneurs. Odesa is a Ukrainian city. And Ukraine should be heard here,' Kiper emphasized.

Reaction to the scandal with Russian music in the club

It should be recalled that the incident in the Palladium nightclub, where Russian music was played, caused outrage in Odesa. It sparked widespread discussion, and the regional military administration noted that Russian music is unacceptable in the city, especially in the context of the military conflict.

The situation occurred on October 31 when the club's DJ played a Russian track in front of an audience of over a thousand people. After that, Oleg Kiper publicly expressed his discontent with this incident, emphasizing its unacceptability.

There is a decisive reaction from the authorities in Odesa to the case of illegal Russian-language content in the nightclub. The head of the regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, ordered the violations to be stopped and emphasized that the city should have a genuine Ukrainian atmosphere. All establishments must comply with the legislation and Ukrainian values.
