The plaintiffs alleged that between the 1990s and 2011, the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday obtained information for their articles through illegal means. The court determined that the evidence presented did not support these claims, leading to the rejection of all demands made by the plaintiffs.
Prince Harry was one of seven individuals who brought the case against Associated Newspapers Limited. The other claimants included:
