Russian drone attacked a boat with fishermen in Sumy region: one person died

According to glavcom.ua: Recently, a terrible incident occurred in the Sumy region. It turns out that Russian troops launched a drone at a boat with fishermen on a lake in the Shostka district. According to 'Glavkom', this was reported by the Sumy regional prosecutor's office.

The tragedy took place on October 4 at about 11:20 AM. One of the fishermen, a 63-year-old man, died, and his 65-year-old friend was injured. The investigation is probing this incident as a commission of war crimes resulting in death.

Law enforcement officials are conducting a pre-trial investigation into the commission of war crimes that led to the death of a person (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Recently, Russia also attacked a train station and passenger trains in the city of Shostka in the Sumy region, resulting in dozens of injuries. In one of the train cars hit by the hostile drone, the body of a 71-year-old man was found.

Russian troops attacked civilian infrastructure, targeting the train station in the Shostka community. This horrific event confirmed that the conflict in eastern Ukraine continues, bringing only suffering and pain to the civilian population.
