Russia attacked Ukrnafta facilities: what are the consequences and the recovery process
According to glavcom.ua: The Russian Federation struck the production facilities of Ukrnafta in a nighttime combined attack. According to a report by 'Glavkom', the attack caused destruction and the operation of the facilities was suspended, but there were no casualties. The chairman of the company, Serhiy Koretsky, stated that emergency recovery work on the damaged facilities is currently underway.
Specialists are working in an enhanced mode to restore infrastructure after the Russian attacks. As a result of the attacks, the most damage was inflicted on energy facilities in the western regions. The Ministry of Energy reported that recovery work is ongoing in the Rivne, Ternopil, and Odesa regions, as well as stabilizing the operation of the country’s energy system. Currently, the biggest problems with electricity supply are felt in frontline regions.
In addition, Estonia is allocating additional funds to support Ukraine in restoring the country's energy infrastructure. Ukraine is actively working to address the consequences of the Russian attacks and restore the operation of important energy facilities.
