Shelling by Russian militants caused train stoppages
According to glavcom.ua: The head of Ukrzaliznytsia Oleksandr Pertzovsky reported shelling of the railway last night by militants from Russia. This led to delays in train movements, confirmed by company representatives.
Delays were noted for trains on the Dnipro direction due to power outages. Pertzovsky did not specify the exact location and extent of the damage caused, but emphasized that measures were taken to minimize negative consequences for passengers.
«86/72 Lviv-Zaporizhzhia - Pavlohrad; 85/71 Zaporizhzhia, Pavlohrad - Lviv, 75 Kyiv-Kryvyi Rih, № 80 Lviv - Dnipro, others may be added as well. Reserve locomotives are on standby, locomotive crews are leaving to help minimize delays and ensure passenger transportation», - the company reported.
After the shelling by Russian militants, the railway witnessed a stoppage of train movements, but the company is taking measures to ensure minimal negative consequences for passengers and to continue train deliveries in all directions.
